About this product

Product Information

The house that Death built...and the garden, too. It's no more than a breath away... Everyone needs a place to relax after a long day, after all. So here is the place where the Grim Reaper can kick back and take the load off his scythe. Here's the golf course that's not so much crazy as insane, and the useless maze, and the dark gardens - all brought (incongruously) to life. And here, for the first time ever, you will find out the reason why Death can't understand rockeries, and what hapens to garden gnomes. As Death rides Binky into the sunset (of other people's lives), you can at last see what he gets up to when he's not at work.

Some shelf boxing but that is to be expected on an item this old. I can roughly date it because of the introduction page saying that at the time of printing Terry Pratchett had only written 23 of his Disc World books which means it was done sometime in 1998. The map and booklet inside are pristine so I would call this near mint condition.

    • Giving shape to names and places in the Discworld

The Discworld is an amazing Universe created by Terry Pratchett. The great detail of the geography and toponymy of the Discworld makes it too complex for the reader to imagine it. It is why the Discworld Mapps are more than welcomed. Death is one of the most interesting characters on or off the Discworld. It's domain is a place where many scenes take place, therefore the idea of creating this particular Mapp is very good. The product is of very good quality and is a great addition to all the Discworld fans. This Mapp is completely useless to someone who hasn't read at least part of the Discworld books - you won't understand a thing.
