Deconstructing Harry
I am a huge fan of Woody Allen, and that's why I bought this film. In my opinion it is one of the best comedies I have ever seen. It is a story of Harry Block (Allen), a novelist who wrote a bestseller about his friends. In some points a fiction blends with a reality, of course in e very funny way. I love the film beacause it's very funny and inteligent, makes you think. Besides Woody Allen played his character perfectly, proved again how good actor, not only director, he is. "Deconstructing Harry" is definitely one of the best Allen's movies and one of the best comedies at all. I can recomend it to everyone, I believe the film is just terrific.

One of the best from W. Allen
This is the last top notch film written by and starring Woody Allen. All the anxiety, wit and oddball characters are present with a touch of world weariness in the writing for good measure. The film has an editing technique which, I think, is called jump cutting. It can be somewhat disconcerting until you get used to it and realise the film isn't faulty. The main character is self centred and has no redeeming characteristics but he conveys an air of bewilderment as to why people hate him and you're completely on his side. No one else is making films like this as good as this not even W. Allen.

a classic woody allen at his very best the style the story line and the new york jewish angst no one can do better " I am not a kidnapper " is aline that is immediately followed by the accusotry line ' your under arrest for kidnapping'; robin williams as the 'out of focus ' actor: simply sublime!

Woody Allen is a genius and everything he directs is gold, he is a very clever man in the way he bulds the story and assembles the characters. I also like the way the characters interacts with one another all round it is a good quality film

if u like woody allen films u'll ejoy this. it is a bit confusing if u dn't like jumpin around the story line. i decided to buy it cos me and a few friends are watching all of robin williams films. he appears i it for bout 5 mins as do most of the comio appearences (as there are a few).
