Sir Arthur returns to rescue his fair maiden in this enhanced update to Capcom's classic coin-op game. Princess Prin Prin has been abducted by the devil himself, forcing Arthur to brave the darkest depths and scariest sights to save her. The original's side-scrolling viewpoint and platform-hopping action are unaltered in this re-imagined version, which features new 3D graphics and hazard-laden environments. <br><br>In addition to hurling projectile weapons, Arthur can double jump, grab onto ledges, and perform other new moves. While the arcade game's notorious difficulty has been scaled back, hardcore players looking for a challenge worthy of their skills will find it in the title's "ultimate" mode. Ultimate Ghosts 'N Goblins also includes a level-up system for enhanced attacks, a save feature between stages, and an assortment of weapons and armor to help stave off the enemy's relentless advances.

    Good for the Ghosts'n Goblins series

    This is a perfect game unfortunately it's the last one for the main series I think is a good value and good for a collection of a great serie like this. The most hardest games you can ever play but once you start to get into it, it becomes more fun and easy

    Old School Coolness

    This game is for those that appreciate the old theme and idea behind Ghost and Goblins. The Graphics are very much improved from previous versions but the character and game are slow in responding to controls. Even though Author is slow to respond its kind of fun re-learning and re-training my response to obstacles. It takes me back to the older games. I had to slow down which was a challenge after playing games like Daxter. Good, entertaining, and challenging game.

    I don't know if I would recommend this game. I remember playing this on my old NES and loved it and that is why I bought it for the PSP. On the PSP it is a difficult game, more than it was on the NES. Character is hard to control and hard to judge the inputs you make compared to the movents of the game. I would buy it again just because of it's NES history, but as for recommending it. I think if you don't remember NES's version you should probably pass it by. Some levels are almost impossible to pass without help online or just simple luck. Some levels I had to set the PSP down and take a long break because of Frustration.

    OLD SCHOOL

    JUST REMEMBER DONT THROW YOUR PSP!!! This is really true to the original VERY CHALLENGING, beautiful graphics, and great sound. I remember the first time i played the original i remember how much i loved it... i finally beat it took forever and this one is exactly the same. Stays true to its predessessor. A great game.
