    Great HD Ready TV

    Had this TV for over a year now,with no problems at all. A very good picture on standard definition material and a stunning picture on HD material,it is ideal for watching sports,particularly football with no image blur on fast moving images which is a big problem with plasma and LCDs. In the US,the rear projection TV is King for a very good reason,size of screen and quality of image delivered on the screen. Cheers

    What a Cracking TV picture and sound for its price

    After reading other coments i agree with them that this tv does have a quality picture and sound Just lacks in 1080p and more hdmi ports then again for its price its still good value for money and bear in mind ok the bulbs to go. But when they go you end up with a new tv picture. no screen burn and no shadowing very light for its size as well . No problems with transporting on its side and easy to move around.

    New Generation Projection Large TV's

    Let's face it you need to have a large TV nowadays. The only 2 questions are how big and how much? If you do any research those questions will quickly bring you down to a choice of technologies mainly projection, LCD or Plasma. I take the view that all good quality TV's in any of these 3 formats will give you a very decent picture. This sony is no exception. I have another 37 inch plasma in my home but on the big match day this 50 inch Sony Projection wins my attention. It takes no more space than the same size plasma when set in a corner and does cost half the price of the plasma. It is HD ready, the WII & PS2 pictures are just like the plasma and this model has freeview in built. In this model all the previous concerns with distortion in a projection TV are resolved. If I could afford it ...

    Superlative Sony!!

    Wow, what can I say except if you get a chance to buy one of these fantastic Sony Bravias, grab it and enjoy. Picture quality is, quite simply, breathtaking and the sound is superb. I've never owned a Sony television before and I'm sure this is the start of long relationship.....I'll be back for some more in the future :-) Sadly with this size of screen there will be no excuses to go to the cinema, wait for the DVD and enjoy it at home!!!

    Great vaulue for money! Why I went for DLP tv

    This tv is a fantastic alternative to very expensive 50inch lcd or plasma screen tvs with as close to if not same picture quality cost new only 4-5 years ago was £1400 and you can now pick up one on ebay from £50 upwards dont be put off by tv needing replacement DLP bulbs as they have a rough use life of 6000hours and cost around £90 to replace far less expensive than repairing crt projection tv's or lcd/plasma. hope this was helpfull.
