Genuinely chilling..
I had never seen or heard of "The Appointment", buy I purchased this wonderful BFI blu ray, as I have recently purchased other titles, such as the "Short, sharp shocks" compilations and the magnificent "Symptoms" (1974). "The Appointment" is an extremely well made and executed short film, with engaging characters and a genuinely creepy and disturbing story. The special effects are done very well, and the ending of the film will haunt you. An excellent cast, including Edward Woodward.
