    Good trilogy, strong female lead, underrated costar!

    Effects are well done. The story has depth and a rich history. The Alexander Corvinus plot is original. Enough violence and a little gore for fans of R ratings and horror. Brief nudity. The Blu-rays and menu system are early technology with little clutter. One caution, in older Blu-Ray machines, the USB flash drive may need to be refreshed or the 2nd movie you play may freeze on the menu screen. I did this and it plays fine.

    **The BOX SET 3-Disc Trilogy** Underworld(Underworld) and Underworld(Evolution) are DEFINITELY *MUST SEE* FILMS that are very very well written, will keep your attention from beginning to end, offer a great acting cast, and not to mention... GREAT SPECIAL EFFECTS and GRAPHICS. You'll watch them many times over! Underworld 1 & 2 are undeniably AWESOME and MUST OWNS! You'll want to watch them over and over! And... if you have a Surround Sound System with/without a Big Screen TV, you'll be in your glory! LOL Now, as for Underworld(Rise of the Lycans), which is #3, ah, its "OK". We're going to have to rate this third Underworld as AVERAGE(with the other two rating EXCELLENT with TWO THUMBS "WAY" UP). We are definitely fans of the Underworld films, but this release did not quite do it for us. ...

    WoW...Better then expected

    If you are a fan of either of the first two Underworld movies you are going to like this one as well. This movie seems to take place a short time after the creation of both races but some time before the events that open Underworld Evolution. The entire story of the feud between the vampires and lycans is told in 90 minutes with plenty of action interspersed throughout. My only complaint is that the movie could have been longer with more character development. An hour and a half is hardly enough time to tell a love story, which is what is at the heart of this movie. Also, a little more depth could have been given to Raze's character as his origins are shown but not in much detail. These plot points are sacrificed to keep the action scenes rolling but the action is great. There are several ...

    Underworld Trilogy

    I loved the original trilogy but on BluRay....WOW!!!!! All three movies are shot in subdued light for the mood of the stories, much like "The Godfather" movies, but this in no way detracts from the quality. Be sure and watch it with your home theater on, because you will hear background sounds you never heard in the original movies. I suggest before buying any BluRay you go here to get the low down on whether it is worth buying a BluRay.... http://www.blu-ray.com/ The site not only gives a synopsis of the movie but rates the quality of both the audio and video of the disc itself. After doing some research I found out just because it is BluRay doesn't make it any better quality than a plain dvd. Happy watching!!!!

    Underworld trilogy BRD

    Great 👍 movies about vampires vs wearwolfs and history of the beginning of the series before the other 2 movies came out. Great costume and background scenes.
