Perfect Birthday Gift for Grandson
My grandson has just learn how to play a video game from watching his older brothers. Of course, he is only 6 but watch them a lot and know all the game. One of his brothers is into video Sonic and he also love Sonic and watching on You Tube. My daughter has an old PS3 and said he can learn on it and so I got his the Sonic Game he is used to playing on Youtube. Everything about the game was perfect, it worked in the console with no problems and he just love it. MIX 1 part pure sonic 2D goodness + 1 part pure sonic 3D crap
I want to start by saying I'm a sonic fan. I've bought the many sonic games over the years because the early sonic games were so good. Sonic Generations has some of that classic 2D sonic restored. The first level is a remake of the Green Hill Zone from Sonic 1, the 2nd level is the Chemical plant from Sonic 2, the 3rd is the Sky Zone from Sonic 3... and the rest are remakes from 3D sonic games........ The portion of the game that involves the 2D sonic are awesome. However, the majority of the boss battles in Sonic Generations are done using the modern 3D sonic. These battles will frustrate you. My battle with 'shadow' lasted 40 minutes.... 3D sonic makes the player lose control with many MANY cheap deaths sprinkled in the middle. If SEGA continues pushing their ... This game has the speed in a straight narrow path and loops and twisty gravity that every Sonic video game looks for. The more the better but 60% throughout each stage is best thing ever. I hope a Sonic generation come out like this every 3 year.
