Just what I wanted
I love this pestle and mortar. It arrived promptly, nicely packaged and there was even a recipe for pesto on the box, which I've tried already and it tasted great! Possible issue in the future is that it is ceramic so care needs to be taken in case of possible breakage.

Disappointing (for me).
I was looking for a pestle and mortar, not too large, where the curvature of both pestle mortar were continuous and hemispherical. The photo of this one looked as if it was, but it was not. So I was disappointed. It is probably a good pestle and mortar, as these things go, but it was not really what I wanted, although I am using it.

Good Value Mortar & Pestle. One I received was by Premier Housewares but inside of mortar & grinding area of pestle are a rougher finish which is an off-white colour, not white as shown in the advert. I think the pouring spout is smaller also. Nevertheless, it works just fine.
