Maxell DVD-R
Maxell DVD-R discs are generally good value for money. I find the failure rate no more than 2% on average. Bearing in mind they are considerably cheaper than some of the other major brands i have no hesitation in recommending them

Maxwell DVD-R simply the Best.
I have uses Maxwell DVD-R for the past 8 years, I have a Mac and find that they work just fine with the Apple Super Drive, an with Toast 15 you and shrink a an 8.5gb Movie and burn in Duel Layer mode. I have tried other makes of re-writable DVD's but find that these Maxwell are the best, good quality and reliable. I particularly like the 25 capacity containers the 100's are just too big.

Maxell DVDs work for dubbing.
I have had difficulty dubbing from my hard disc drive on my DVD recorder to DVD-Rs. I tried Polaroid DVDs but they didn't work so I got Logic DVDs and they didn't. I knew that Maxell DVDs had worked in the past so I got them. Lo and behold they worked. So I shall be sticking to Maxell DVDs in the future. They are fit for purpose.
