    Super Buy Camera

This was an upgrade from a 35mm film camera to a digital. We are very pleased with it, it is easy to use, the pictures are clear and good quality and it sits in your hand well when in use. We were fortunate as the extra lens on our 35mm camera fitted this one so we have the best of both worlds. Excellent value, great price. 100% recommended.

  • Review of Canon Eos 400D

As a previous user of a 2 MP and a 6.2 MP digital camera, the time had come for me to purchase a DSLR camera due to the fact that i always found shortcomings in the previous cameras namely zoom speeds and poor night shots. With my new Canon i can quickly zoom on the subject without any blur by just manually turning the ring the supplied 18-55 lens and like this i never miss a shot. Daytime shots are perfect, multiple shots are nearly instantaneous and everything is saved quickly on the 4GB Sandisk card i recently bought. It's easy for a beginner to get used to this kind of camera becuase you can set it to full automatic mode, and the camera will take care of everything for you.

  • Great Camera, full of functiond from point and shoot to full manual. A+++

I already have a Canon 40d and various Lenses, but as I sometimes do wedding photograpy I always like to have a spare or backup camera. This model was my prefered choice, as all my existing lenses fit. It is great to use as, with most of the features, that the 40D has, picture quality is fabulous. This is ideal for the beginner or intermediate photographer who has now moved from a bridge camera to a full DSLR. You wont be dissapointed. Excellent. Paul Royal

  • Canon EOS 400D

I have just recently bought my first Canon EOS camera. I always had a very good opinion of canon but when I saw and held the Canon EOS 400D I was so much more impressed. It is a excellent semi-pro (which in my opinion is a bit diminishing) SLR digital camera. The 3 inch screen on the back of the Canon is a fantastic feature allowing you to see pictures very clearly and thoroughly. The feeling the camera gives you when you start taking pictures is indescribable. With its very reasonable price and all its amazing features I would recommend this camera to anybody who is willing to go a level higher then digital cameras and want to buy a good camera without spending a lot and a lot.

  • Canon 400D

After becoming bored of the basic sensor the Canon 350D, I felt an upgrade was needed. I have fallen into the Canon vs. Nikon war and, fortunately I was on Canon's side. I had built up quite a collection of equipment. I looked at a range of cameras. The 550D, 1000D, 40D and the 400D. The 550 was much too expensive for my pocket and the 40 felt too basic. I wanted a large sensor you see. So, it was a toss up between the 1000D and the 400D. The 1000D was quite a lot more expensive but with few more extras. I bought my 400D at a good price on eBay and would recommend it as a STARTER camera. I have already out grown it within a few weeks. I always recommend buying expensive lens before expensive bodies as they are what make the difference. The sensor size was just so I could crop more. :)
