Arrived in poor condition. Due solely to the negligent lack of any packaging. Just placed in a grey plastic bag. Not good enough and showed complete lack of respect for the buyer and product. I asked for a new case to replace cracked one just offered partial refund or " return". Had me over a barrel as the CD is very hard to source and isn't cheap. So had no choice but to accept the partial refund. Not happy at all! Poor service in every regard.

What a stupid idea. Am I reviewing the musical content of the cd or the fact that I bought a secondhand cd and it arrived?I Well, I know the music content, it’s not his best, but I wanted it for my collection. So 3. Stars. The item is a little tatty and scratched but ok and original so similarly 3 stars..

This is a work both seminal and un-representational by probably the most important electronic music composer of the 90s. Back in 1992-1993 'ambient' was a buzz word, as producers began to create album length works which had an appeal beyond the ecstasy enthused dance floor and the 12" crowd pleasing classic. Richard D James, known as 'Aphex Twin' was the UK's first poster boy of the informal 'electronic dance music as serious music' movement. But with the release of SAW II he took the opportunity of his new found fame to give his (typically young) listeners an experience of something that was for the most part beyond their understanding or appreciation, leading many to wonder whether the emperor was sometimes clothless or if perhaps this was a bit of a joke. Time matures tastes, ... This is a work both seminal and un-representational by probably the most important electronic music composer of the 90s.
