Received cracked lever cap, seller was inflexible and refused to offer a solution other than a return. Demeanor was semi cordial but insinuated i was a liar even after providing zoomed pics of crack from the top and side showing crack going all the way thru the casting with arrows point to the crack. He stated “ i dont see a crack”. To top it off it was shipped in an envelope offering no protection to the lever. I returned it in a box properly packed because thats how you ship 100 yo antiques.

For the record. Buyer purchased solid steel item w/ no questions or comments; shipped in bubble wrap padded envelope. Upon receiving buyer immediately asked for a partial refund after his “optical zoom scan” detected a hairline crack; I apologized for the obvious miss on my part and asked to return it for full refund. Buyer did not want to return; wanted partial refund. Finally relented and returned but said crack was visible in listing pics.??? Why purchase it if you knew the crack was there?
