Fantastic organ and electric piano sounds
This does exactly what it says it does, and it does it really well. 255 new patches for the JV-1080, JV-2080, etc, with some wonderful organ sounds, some of which are based on famous songs (Whiter Shade of Pale, House of the RIsing Sun, etc). Most of the organ sounds come from the Hammond B3, but there are some from the less-used organs, like the Farfisa. Lots of classic electric piano sounds as well - Rhodes, Wurlitzer, Clavinets, etc. And even a few Mellotron samples. A keyboard player in a classic rock band could do a lot worse than getting this expansion and the Vintage Synths one. Between the two of them, you could probably play most keyboard sounds from the golden age of rock. Legendary Expansion Board for the JV-series!
For an old school 8 MB expansion board made in the late 90s, this board really shines in every aspect. What you'll find here is a vast number of incredibly well sampled instruments from the 60's and 70's era including organs, electric pianos and breathtakingly beautiful mellotrons. Those guys at Roland sure knew what they were doing back in the day. Highly recommended!

A good representation of the keyboard sounding of 60s & 70s
The Roland SR-JV80-04 is a nice addition for those looking to expand their JVs, XPs or XVs instruments. It comes with a rich collection of organs, but also has some nice EPs.
