Great product that lasts really well
Great product. Don't waste money on cheaper brands. This one works well and will last. I still have a similar model which I bought in 1976 unfortunately that only works on lead solder.

Antex XS25 watt Soldering Iron
I have owned an Antex 18 watt iron for many years. Incredibly, it still functions as well as it did on the day I bought it. it still has the original tip and heat element fitted. I decided to pick up the XS25, 25 watt soldering iron as it is ideally suited for my amateur radio hobby and kit building, repairs and improvements etc. This buy was excellent value and, in typical Antex style, the iron is just perfect in every way. Lightweight, and with balanced heat once warmed up, it is more than capable at meeting the needs of amateur and professional alike. I thoroughly recommend this piece of gear if you have need to do any amount of solder work. Antex are truly right up there and I would instantly recommend you review their products if in need of a new or replacement iron. Although only a ... I advised buy this one by my relative who has been an electronics technician for almost 40 years, as this make & model is dependable & long lasting and good for average users too. You can even buy a few extra different soldering tips for it too

Light and easy to use
This iron is lightweight and easy to use, it also has a reputation for excellent reliability. When I worked in the electronics industry we used these irons, they were on all day every day and lasted for years.

30 year replacement
