    Great sound!

    The sound quality is really good provided you amend the volume by doing a factory reset under 'settings' and then adjusting the English language setting to 'the rest of the world'. The battery lasts about 4 hours.

    Excellent player, unfortunately not made anymore

    I owned one of these players previously, but it got crushed in an accident. When I tried to purchase a new one I found that they were no longer manufactured, and that the newer models by Sansa were nowhere near as good. Most retailers seem to have cottoned on to this and have massively increased the price of those still in stock. This player has been refurbished by the manufacturers and is as good as new. It doesn't come with the original packaging, but that's just one less thing for the recycling. Good compact reliable player, maybe worth upgrading the headphones though.

    The Best

    I've had one of these for about 5 years and it's just starting to glitch out. [Still functions perfectly, but now there is a permanent yet unintrusive green line of "dead pixels" down the center of the screen] so am looking for another only to find they are discontinued. I've had Sony products that last a year at the most [and had way more horrendous navigation]! No idea why they're not making these anymore, nothing else comes close.
