Keep a couple as spares.
Simple little things that do a great job of keeping the water fitting in, but like most plastics, due to age and abuse, can easily break, not what you need to spoil your holiday when miles away from a caravan spares shop. Keep a couple of these handy, they are cheap, easy to fit, worth their weight in gold when needed. Another nice thing is, I have occasionally been able to help out other caravanners who have broken one. I am nothing to do with the manufacturing company or the Ebay seller, simply a caravanner of 50 years or more who has worked out the bits to keep in the caravan toolbox.Simple little things that do a great job of keeping the water fitting in, but like most plastics, due to age and abuse, can easily break, not what you need to spoil your holiday when miles away from a caravan spares shop. new pump catches
I had to replace the water pump catches on my caravan fresh water inlet after one seized in the housing and snapped when I tried to free it I replaced both clips and covered the pins with anti seize grease to avoid this happening again . the new clips seamed to be of better quality .and i will make sure they don't seize.

The basic design of these is flawed, they are difficult to use and snap easily. So having the option to buy a spare pair to keep in the van is excellent. Just push the broken one through and pop in a new one. No leaking water on site. No brainer.
