This was shipped in three days but had an obvious three inch rip in the cover. It was advertised as like new or mint condition. I don’t care as I just want to read it and pass it on,. Positive transaction on my part . Thank you,

  • Wonderful book!!

Albert Marrin is my favorite nonfiction author. I read three or four of his books during highschool, and found his style to be extremely informative but not at all dry. In fact, I got sucked into the books! This one was no exception. It does an excellent job describing each battle and focusing on Lee's role in it. You really get to know this amazing general better by reading this book, and you get a much better understanding of the American Civil War!
