    Excellent Track

    The 30 inch Fast Track is outstanding on large layouts. At present... there will be four lines the two inner lines will be elevate... one at 6 inches and one at 12 inches... and then landscaped to look like a mountain range.

    Reliable Fast Track Options.

    I saved at least 25% over new retail pricing for these Lionel 30" long straights Fast Track sections. This O gauge track design is excellent for large fastened train layout systems or for temporary around-the-tree displays for the Holidays.

    Best Track for O Gauge

    Fastrack is just the best. I think it was a big improvement over the old tubular track looking more realistic and avoiding picking up carpet fibers for that floor layout at Christmas.

    Great product for large layouts

    I ordered these planning my layout one way. But then I bought a bunch of accessories that needed the special fast track accessory and isolator tracks. Next year I will add a few switches for parking the trains and they will make it a lot easier to set up. I have found that using thin blocks of wood screwed to the end areas of the tracks with #4x 3/4” wood screws not only keeps tracks from trying to separate but also helps making both the engine and accessories perform more reliably. If you are setting up on a plywood board then no need for the little blocks. However my layout is on the floor for Christmas and is running on both hardwood finished floors and carpeting. My trains are now running flawlessly.

    Good option for long straight spans

    Seems to be good item but seems to be just 3 10" pieces of fast-track glued together. You can see the seam between the pieces but they are very secure. I will be curious to see how long they stay together -- I am hopeful that they will. The Lionel catalog picture does not show a seam.
