    Killer surround mix - great system demo

    Haven't listened to Deep Purple since high school, and my "Made in Japan" LP. However, I am always on the hunt for new (old) surround music, so took a chance on this. Superb surround mix of a great classic rock album - no regrets about this purchase. "Space Truckin'" is my particular favorite track. Best of all, it's a SACD! Insert the disc, and it plays in the highest resolution your system will support - period - no further effort required. This contrasts to the endless mental misery selecting thru DVD/blu-ray menus, simply to play the desired audio.

    Very poor sound quality, NOT SUPER AUDIO !

    Do not waste your money, forget the SACD quality, this is worse than a 78 speed disc. 45 year old vinyl sounds 100 times better.

    Great restoration of a great album

    I had the old SQ quadraphonic vinyl. Always loved this album. The SA-CD is superb. Great 5.1 surround. Very happy to add it to my collection.

    I'm Laazzy, just stay in bed

    great sacd. If you have a sacd player you need this one. Get it before it's gone. It's a hybrid so even if you don't have a sacd player you can still enjoy the great mix on a regular cd player. Buy now!
