    Works like a champ, lightweight, great features and so far, i am very happy

    I have been fishing for over 50 years and this is the third electric reel i have owned. I fished this reel hard for about 6 hours, (first time out with this one) and it worked flawlessly. Reeled in about 30 fish in the 15 to 20 pound range, many more smaller and a 300 plus pound shark. The reel never missed a beat. I like it so much, i am shopping for another one, maybe the 700 model.

    The Daiwa Tanacom 1000 fishing reel

    I bought this for my husband and he loves it. It's very easy to operate .He likes to deep sea snapper n mutton fishing and had great results. It works great n it does exactly what is listed.

    Nice look, feel and finish!!

    This is a massive reel. Very impressive. Solid. Great technology to help you catch the big ones that lurk deep!! I haven't used it yet but can't wait to put it into action. Nice product and packaging by Daiwa. I'll write a follow-up review when I get back from an overnight Pelagic trip in October. Just planning ahead!!

    Tanacom 1000/Commercial Use

    I use Tanacom 1000's for commercial fishing. We target fish in depths up to 400 + feet. Bringing up to 14 hooks with fish at one time. These reels get it done. I recommend service at least every 2 years with heavy use. I'm talking several thousand pounds. 👍👍
