    Powerful reel

    The Daiwa Tanacom 750 electric reel is great for deep water fishing. It can reel heavy weight up from 600 feet of water with no sweat. We use these reels here on the north coast of Washington for halibut and they work flawlessly. They sure save the hands, arms and shoulders from pain bringing up halibut from 600 feet down.

    Lack of Information

    When I saw this electric reel, I thought it would be a great Father's Day gift for my husband. I read the description of the product, it did mentioned very little about the required battery. It just says it needed a battery. That's it. My mistake is the lack of research. Let's face it, we usually buy first and then once we have the purchased product we start examine it and we do the research. If I had known, the battery needed for the electric reel is the size of a regular car battery, I would not had bother to even considered buying it. I tried returning the product, and I was flabbergasted when I saw how much the restocking fee and the returned shipping cost. I will lose $100 if I returned the product. Now I remember why I stop shopping at eBay. This is the main reason. They don't ...

    Best money ever spent

    Words don't accurately describe the feeling you get holding and using this reel. I've used for jigging, trolling even casting and it is the best, most fun reel I own. Very solid construction, smooth quiet operation, and loaded with features. Buy one, you'll probably buy another!

    Nice. Lifelong toy I’ve always wanted.

    Shipping was good. Product has been bench tested but haven’t used it in the ocean yet. Have no reason to believe it will not work perfectly. You Tube videos have been a great resource for learning how to operate the reel and make adjustments.

    Great Value

    The reel is very well-built. I was able to find some helpful video on You Tube and got it set up right away. If you go on-line, you can find a manual, which does not come with the reel. I tested the reel on a fishing trip and it works very well. Probably need another one!
