Canon EOS 600D
As I wanted to upgrade from a 35mm film camera to a digital camera I chose Canon again. The Rebel has a good size screen enabling playback of video and monitoring still shots. also this is very useful if you do not want to use the through the lense eye cup. The weight of the camera with a 50mm standard lense is medium and even with the 28 -300 Tamron zoom is not cumbersome.
