Great biographical drama with engaging characters and considerable historical accuracy.
This movie is based on historical events and is presented more as a biographical movie than as a pure drama. For some who are invested more in movies with considerable action this may not be your cup of tea, but for anyone with some awareness of the events portrayed this should be an engaging and interesting view. Naturally, a few liberties are taken with the presentation of the characters but overall these are few. The action does increase in the later portion of the movie, Interestingly, much of the dialogue between Pesci and De Niro was intentionally unscripted. The acting is exceptional. I consider this one of the best moview about the role of the mob in Las Vegas and the disc is just beautiful. The price was a real bargain. The movie was filmed on location in Las Vegas which makes it even more fascinating and timeless.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
