      Works very quickly

      Our chimey sweep advised us after theckast sweeping that we were starting to get a build jup of tar in the steel flue lining of our stove chimney and recommended this tyoe of product. Chose Hot spot as its a well known Rustins brand. Clean odourless powder. Just sprinkle on red hot embers of fire when shutting it down. After 3 uses the wood stove is noticeably cleaner and whisky flakes of dry creosote ar coming down into the grate overnight so it seems to be doing the job.

      Does what it claims to do

      Have used 'Hotspot' over a number of Winters and the chimney sweep tells me that the soot is 'fluffy' when extracted. This shows that the tar & chemicals in the fuel are being neutralised. It also reduces the burn smell from the chimney.

      Fabulous stuff

      Had my chimney cleaned recently but have a huge build up of tar my fire was at the point of not being able to use it due to it smoking badly this chimney stuff worked straight away absolutely excellent product would defo recommend. A++++
