    One month long / first hand initial review on Vornado 660 air circulator

    I have been using this for over a month. The beauty of the product is, while running your are welcome by a gentile breeze, as if you have turned on your centralised air conditioner. In terms of noice it is noisier than a standard fan at full speed, but as far as I can see the noise you hear is due to the shear force of air displaced on high speed settings. At lower setting the noise is very low considering the amount of air it displaces. If your are on the look out for a whisper quite air regulator then you need to consider ducted air conditions or split air conditioner. Even then you will still hear a slight noise unless you are prepared to invest on acoustic isolation or sound absorbers, that will be very hefty on your pocket for domestic use. You will feel the air move below your legs ...

    Because it does what i intended to use it for,move outside cool air into living area of our home,so fan is outside blowing in early morning air,so for our use we dont care if its noisy, we like the volume it blows in.

    Over hyped

    It is marginally better than a usual fan , nothing special , I think it's over marketed . You can get 10 fans for this price . It works great when you have the aircon on , it will circulate air if it can draw cold or fresh air otherwise it's pretty much useless.
