Major crimes, as good as The Closer
Okay, the female lead has had too much cosmetic surgery, limiting her expression. Only negative I can think of in the series.. The rest of the characters have depth along with development and I am super impressed by Rusty the teenager. He is one of the most convincing actors I have seen in a long time. Yes, there is some violence, hey it is a cop show, but not dwelt on. My husband likes murder mysteries and we both love this show. Always interesting.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Missing Special Features
Packaging very similar to previous seasons, I believe this is a pirate DVD. First the wording on the package is very odd. Then there are TNT notices at the end of some episodes. Some episodes end without any production credits at all just jumping to the next episode. Finally the mentioned special features are absent altogether. Major Crimes Is Still Going Strong
The characters in Major Crimes just keep getting more and more complicated - as people usually do. I like most of the top characters and enjoy the crimes that are solved. Their crime-solving skills are top-notch and interesting to watch. I am getting a little tired of Rusty's saga, however. It seems as tho the writers are reeeeelly stretching for plots with him involved. That happens sometimes in long-running series, so I can overlook that. I look forward to seeing how Season 5 turns out now that Provenza has another wife. Plus, it looks as tho Captain Rador and Flynn are getting more serious. That's a good thing.
