Great Filter
What's to say. It works as advertised. It obviously fits our Frigidaire fridge perfectly since it's designed to fit. I have never had any problems installing the new filter...fits perfectly, no leaks. I like the fact that this filter removes 99% of contaminants and is certified by both NSF and WQA. There are cheaper alternative filters out there. Just be careful if they really aren't as effective removing contaminants and do not have certifications proving their ability to remove those contaminants. We have had this fridge for about 10 years and I replace the filter once a year even though they recommend twice a year. After install, don't forget to run at least a couple of gallons of water through the new filter to remove any charcoal particles that could dislodge during first use. Once you do that, the charcoal is packed and no additional particles should be dislodged.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Leaks... but fixable [edit: nope... just leaks]
As many have complained, the seal isn't good and these leak. Just take the 4 o-rings off the original and swap those for the crappy ones on the knock-off. Otherwise it works well and is obviously much less expensive. [edit] OK, so I thought it worked after swapping the o-rings, but I guess it just took time for the leak to become apparent again. I should have guessed that, as the first leak wasn't noticed right away (I thought I just somehow didn't notice. It is hard to tell, of course, because you can't see into the filter cavity when it is installed. You only see the evidence later. The ribs you see at the front of filter just to each side, I had to shave them down so they would let the filter seat into the housing. Molding was off a bit. Filter works great and water taste great also. WF2CB Compatible Water Filter
For the price it's a great deal to get that refrigerator up and running again for the next 6 months to a year. Installation was simple enough and quick and painless. There was some initial leaking in the area of the filter, but after a couple reseats (pulling it out and putting it back in) it doesn't seem to leak. Filter did not fit. Odd situation.

Great Savings
After installing it, it developed a small leak. I removed it and replaced the o-rings with slightly larger ones. I also lubed the o-rings with a small amount of Vasoline. Seems to work fine. Works better than the original it replaced
At first I put the filter's (back) cover plate on upside down (simply snaps in place) and and it seemed to not fit, as if it were the wrong model. After I realized what I did, I snapped the cover back on in the correct position, and the result is better than the original filter... ice water flows almost twice as fast and I can hear the ice maker working.
