Very impressed. For every fan of The Simpsons and HaLLoWeen!
Being more of a collector of non-fiction, historical, and occult books, I have the tendency to enjoy humor, fiction, and classics from time to time as a means of satisfying the joy of "light reading". I'm also a fan of The Simpsons, but more specifically of the classic HaLLoWeeN episodes entitled "Treehouse of Horror". The book is published and produced in a very impressive format, printing, and binding. The slipcase is an added bonus. There's nothing like a well made hardcover and this does not disappoint. The pages are of a heavy weight gloss with outstanding artwork and color everywhere you look, including pastedown pages and frontispiece. The stories and episodes are arranged according to category, and as well as the versions adapted from the series there is also some content original to the work itself. If there were one thing I would change it would only be that this volume be the first in a chronological series of every canonical "Treehouse" episode aired, but that's not a complaint due to how enjoyable I'm finding this book. Included in the subtitle is "Ominous Omnibus Vol 1" so of course I'm hoping that this continues and includes even more wonderful episodes from the series, and produced with the same attention to detail and format of publication.
