The U.S. Capitol record mixes are different
It is cool to hear the Capitol mixes of the Beatles records compared to the Parlophone/Apple mixes. Capitol added reverb and made louder mixes for the US audiences. The new Capitol US Albums boxset used the recent Apple remixes, so it is hard to find the original Capitol mixes on compact disc.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

If you are a baby boomer, you will love this!
I had become educated on The Beatles via the 1982 MFSL LP's, the 1987 CD's and the 2009 remasters and had forgotten what I actually grew up with which are the Capitol LP's and singles in the US. I read articles on what the Capitol engineers did to the EMI UK tapes, but was amazed when I actually heard them again for the first time in 30+ years.
