Gamers join a young boy and a fantastic beast as they explore a world filled with mystery and peril in The Last Guardian. The action features a mix of third-person platforming and puzzle solving, and the story begins when the young boy is kidnapped and taken to an expansive castle, where he discovers a large chained up creature named Trico that appears to be a mix of dog, bird, and dragon. As the boy, gamers can run, jump, and climb, though much of the action involves finding ways to communicate or influence the behavior of Trico to escape guards and solve environmental puzzles.<br><br>As the story progresses the bond between the boy and Trico grows stronger, and it will become slightly easier to control the beast's wild behavior, though players must also take care of the creature, removing spears and arrows from its body, or leading it to food. Trico's tail is capable of shooting lightning bolts, and the boy can eventually acquire a mirrored shield to redirect the bolts at enemies or help solve puzzles.<br><br>This Collector's edition comes in a special SteelBook case and includes the full game as well as a statue of Trico and the boy, a digital soundtrack, an art book, and a sticker sheet.

    I’m not going to leave negative feedback because I did receive the item, eventually, however, it took getting EBay involved and a request to cancel the order and then seller finally shipped.     One of the best games I've ever played

    When I first played The Last Guardian I honestly wasn't too much of a fan. The controlls are archaic, the camera is finicky and sometimes Trico doesn't respond to commands. However, once I got used to the controls I fell in love. The bond that the boy builds with Trico is one of the most beautiful and moving things I've witnessed in a videogame. The story is rather sparce, but when it does come up it's great! The collectors edition is super cool as well! The statue is high quality and the steel case is super cool! Highly recommend

    Fantastic!

    It had been a long while since a game captured me as much as this one. It is absolutely beautiful and I've found myself revisiting it. I had to have the collector's edition. I adore the statue and will for many years! The art book is very nice along with the amazing OST and cute stickers!
