These two comic send-ups of James Bond films feature James Coburn as Derek Flint, a dapper secret agent who, like 007, uses wacky contraptions to get himself out of sticky situations. And, like Bond, he's habitually surrounded by beauteous babes. In OUR MAN FLINT, a trio of mad scientists devise a way to rule the world by manipulating the Earth's climate. Flint is hired by Z.O.W.I.E. (The Zonal Organization for World Intelligence and Espionage) to use his powers of deduction, destruction, and, most of all, seduction to save the day. The film's sequel, IN LIKE FLINT, finds the ladies' man battling a group of powerful and beautiful renegade women who plot to take over the world. They wish to create a race of female soldiers by brainwashing women with a device planted inside beauty salon hairdryers. Austin Powers would be proud.
