Besides the film, which is a documentary and very entertaining and informative, the Collector's Edition package, which includes a patch, Life magazine replica, photos, and an image changing plastic display. Box Set On Pristine Condition
8/25/22 Box set was in BETTER condition than described. Looks brand new! Fast delivery. Lots of special memorabilia included in this "fringe set" - such as reproduced tickets for the entire 3 days & mini reproduction of LIFE magazine devoted to Woodstock. The "regular" 40th anniversary only has 2 DVDs. *THIS* is the 40th anniversary set to have - not just for the extras - but because there is a THIRD DVD & .... it is the one that actually has all the bands & music on it. ~~ My personal opinion regarding the movie: They wasted too much film on how WS was put together, including a mind-numbing "interview" with some stoned-out space cadet. What I want to see is THE ENTIRE FESTIVAL! I WANT TO SEE THE FULL SETS IN ORDER BY EVERY ARTIST THAT WAS THERE! Somewhere, someone is hoarding all that footage of something that will NEVER happen again. Give it up, man! Put all 3 days of MUSIC on DVD. Those performances belong to the people! Wish I was there
A mind blowing experience from start to finish, a nostalgic behind the scenes look interviews with brilliant musicians who are no longer with us. Duirng the most amazing era in both musical and American history. The music is timeless, there will never be another Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, Joe Cocker, and so on. It was amazing for me the child of a hippie, who was at this very event and even stayed after to help clean up. It blows my mind this historical event was thought of by a few guys who just wanted three days if peace , and music. A time when people where more considerate caring for each other than now. I was able to see Woodstock 94 another amazing era in music history, an experience I will always value cherish and be thankful for.
