    High quality item

    I’ve tried other cheat brands, at the time I thought they were quite good but for a few faults - the biggest of that was the motor burning out! So decided to try a more expensive model and found this one, although twice the weight it’s build quality is superior and well more professional, it even does a better job at polishing than the other brand I was sure that was perfect, this surpasses my expectations so far, money well spent.

    Best dust free orbital sander.

    This is a woodworking sander, designed for use on flat surfaces, not a car body work sander. It is quite heavy, solid, well built of good quality materials. It should last a long time. It is not very powerful, only 320 w, but has a 3mm stroke so removes material well. It is the most comfortable sander I have ever used- the noise and vibration levels are very low and the dust extraction is fantastic, the best I have seen. If I'm in a hurry I'll pick one of my other noisier, more aggressive machines, but you can use this all day without getting numb fingers or sawdust in your eyes. A craftsman's tool.

    Makita BO6030

    Glad I bought this sander. Good solid equipment from makita. Not used it yet but I know it is top quality as I've used a similar style sander several years back. A good bit heavier than the palm sander I've been using recently, but a lot more durable and steadier than the various styles of air sanders about. And a lot less noisy. A good length of electric cable attached to the sander, a good quality head attached to it very flexible. Looking forward to giving it it's first use and consigning the palm sander to the back of the cupboard. Makita make good quality tools, so I know this will last for years. Also got an Allen in a holder attached to the cable for when it's time to change the sanding head Well pleased with the purchase.

    Good sander but should be supplied with an extraction adaptor.

    Good orbital sander although the supplied bag does not catch all the dust. Would have thought it would come with an adaptor to fit standard extraction hose but it doe not and it is too small a connection for all my existing adaptors so will need to get one so that the extraction is up to par.
