    A lot of potential for the price, but ...

    Unit came without a proper manual (just a quick start guide). I can't find a manual on Midas website either, which bothers me, but of course there is the Behringer XR18 manual (an online wiki) which also applies to the Midas MR18. Still, this situation is not cool. It's my first digital mixer and it takes some time to understand and explore the control options via wireless, Lan etc. I hear that it took Behringer some time to make the apps for the XR18 work. The app for the MR18 is the same, as far as I can tell, except for a facelift possibly. I'm using the Android app on a Kindle table which works ok. I don't know what the current status is for the iPhone app. I don't know how the mic preamps compare to the XR series. According to the specs they just about beat my Focusrite Scarlett ...

    Awesome capability in small package

    I love this mixer. So much capability in such a small package, and at an affordable price. I find the layout to be pretty intuitive if you're accustom to an analogue mixer. There are even several different software programs that you can try to see which one best suits you. If you are relatively new to mixing, there will be a learning curve, but lots of great tutorials online.
