    Paul wrote these songs right after the Beatles split. 1st album was named 'McCartney' and realeased about the time of 'Let It Be'

    These songs are really good. But not up to the Abbey Road or Sargent Pepper Genius. George, John and Ringo played on those vinyl records. Paul and LInda fled to SCOTLAND and their farm after the split of the Beatles, and he sings of Heart of the Country, Ram, and other earthy themes. I'm an old rocker from the country so this fit me fine when released. The production does not hold up to Band on the Run level songs. These songs are fun to play, fun to sing along, Paul writes great lyrics: RAM holds up that tradition. The revelation with Ram is that Paul's solo music was getting stronger and stronger. Highly recommended.

    Blast to the past!

    This Paul McCartney Ram CD is a Christmas gift to my brother who had the original album in 1971. I'm sure it will bring him a smile. A must for any Beetles fan.
