    Pulp Fiction 4K UHD

    The 4K transfer for this recent version was nearly perfect. There are some minor film grain noticeable, but it's not overdone, and I don't remember the initial blu-ray release being particularly grainy, either. The detail is excellent, and for a film with this many close-up face shots, it had to be nearly perfect and it was. The audio track, unfortunately, wasn't upgraded to Atmos, it's still the same lossless 5.1 DTS-HD mix track you got from the 1080p blu-ray. It's crisp and clear, the soundtrack sounds fantastic. You'll notice it when you're meant to, and not when you're not, which is exactly how an audio track should be. As for aging gracefully, I did notice while rewatching this film in 4k, just how little period technology there really is. A few shots of those thick and bulky 1990s ...
