Horse Whisperer is based upon a book and the characters are disengaging, hard to sympathise with Grace who is despondent after her accident, she is not loving or caring towards anyone or anything except her horse. Robert Redford did a good job considering the bad script he was given to worth with its so sad because her parents and her horse trainer show her love.
