Worse Than What I Remember
I only saw Maximum Overdrive once many years ago. Watching it again made me wonder why I bothered. While the premise is original and entertaining, the dialog is so bad that I literally cringed while asking myself, "Who could dream up this garbage coming from the actor's mouths?" One thing I ABHOR about the current movie industry is their willingness to step all over GOOD classic movies by doing "re-boots". However, this is the EXACT kind of movie that deserves one. Stephen King: Please do the world a favor and re-boot this horrid flop-of-a-movie into something worthy of your name... But keep the soundtrack; it rocks! Raw Deal was more tolerable but not by much. While the camera work during action sequences was great for it's time, the movie as a whole was just boring. The dialog was fun to laugh at; not because it was so funny but because it was so bad.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Wish I hadn't bought the double feature
