Good sharpeners.
Works as advertised, Norelco phased out their replacement blades for cheaper quality blades so sharpening old heads is the only alternative.

Works so-so
The heads were noticeably sharper after each sharpening, so I was saving money. I was getting by, but the blades just seemed to "grind" off the hairs, not cut them. However, when I finally had to buy a newer Norelco, there was such an amazing speed and closeness to the new heads, I will accept the expense of buying new heads from now on.

Great for HQ8 cutters
I’ve used these sharpeners for a couple years with HQ8 cutters. I decided to buy the “new” replacement cutters (SH50) just because I felt the HQ8s ran their course. After using the SH50s for a few months I began to notice that I wasn’t getting as close of a shave. I shave at about 6:30 every morning and by noon I was noticing stubble. Being a pack rat, I still had a couple of used sets of HQ8s around. I used the sharpening discs on them and got a noticeably closer shave. The “replacement” SH50s are very different than HQ8s. They have more cutters but lack the “lift and cut” piece on each of the cutters. The sharpener works; I have three sets of used HQ8s; I’m set. And IT IS IMPORTANT to keep the same cutter with the holder it came with.I’ve used these sharpeners for a couple years with HQ8 cutters. Not that good
I don't recommend. It did sharpen the blades on my electric razor, however the razor was dull after only a few shaves. Then I had to re-sharpen the blades again on my electric razor. It is not worth it. I suggest buying the original blades for your electric razor.

Norelco Sharpener
Improved the sharpness right away. I wasn't aware that it is best to keep each blade associated with its associated head. If I had not mixed them, I might have had even better results. Much better than paying 3/4 the price of an entirely new razor to just get the heads. Would recco to a friend. :^)
