Thanks, took about 30 minutes to fit but seems to work fine. Battery needs charged the first time fitted for 24hrs as it arrives with next to no charge in it, so if you fit to the toothbrush and wonder why it doesn't turn on straight away- this is why.

Great way to save money!
Very easy to change out the old battery in your braun electric tooth brush. Instead of buying a new handle, just change the battery! Now as good as new. Very minimal soldering skill required.

My toothbrush is (a lot!) better then new.
Bought this thinking if I stuff up the soldering, well, I've only wasted $20 so worth having a go. It did require a bit of care and some tools, and I watched vids to learn how to solder. Original battery in my Braun Oral B toothbrush had no markings. This 2500mA battery seems to have much more capacity and runs hard until tapering off rapidly during the final 2 minute session. So very impressed. It has just completed 3 full weeks brushing twice a day on the first charge, which is outstanding. This has cost me just $20 AUS delivered and I needed to buy a torx screwdriver so bought a set for another $20. I had my own dusty old soldering iron and found a utube vid that showed how to change the battery. Have saved $hundreds on a new brush and it performs better than new. Oh and delivery took ... Great Performance But Fiddly To Install
Replacement Battery works just fine with greater capacity than original. The replacement process is however quite fiddly & should only be undertaken by someone who is competent at soldering circuit boards.

Direct replacement, some effort needed
This item takes a little bit of time and effort to fit. Requires disassembly of toothbrush and some soldering, it takes about 10-15 mins depending on technical ability, there are video guides to help. New battery seems to be good, I now get about 30min use from a full charge which is much better than before.
