    Worth buying if you don't mind overcoming its shortcomings.

    I bought this as a direct replacement for the same model installed 12 years ago, which had failed in its switch. I see that it still comes with a very thin cord -too thin as I have had to replace the cord before -and it doesn't have a small plastic grommet to protect the cord as it exits the lamp body. Having said that, it's still worth buying if you don't mind overcoming these shortcomings. I have 4 of this model in the house.
