Having used these rf adaptors for sky boxes with mixed success in the past, I now see the value in buying the adapter and the photocell together, as this set now works well and is better than previous combinations. I have bought a spare set in case I can't find a matching pair in future. Watching sky on a second tv using a sky box would be impossible if this device fails to work. Glad the magic eye was free
Be very careful when inserting IO Link to Sky box, as I bent a pin when trying to insert, so initially had poor reception. Also the magic eye has fallen apart as had an issue getting it to light up for remote control use. When removing from TV the aerial connection stayed inserted in TV and remainder of magic eye came apart in my hand. So had to buy a replacement magic eye.

have put these in many family houses

Not very good connection
item is just about ok but easily falls out of sky box the connections could do with being tighter fit it continually works its way out of the connection and is a nightmare moving tv unit to push it back in just really could do with being a snugger fit
