Contains 35 fully detailed walking routes covering Tenerife's best walking regions by the Tenerife specialists. This work provides a 1:25,000 scale map sections for each walking route plus the pinpoint accuracy of GPS Waypoints. All routes researched in the last six months to ensure that everything is fully up to date. Walking routes are grouped into North (Orotava Valley), Central High Altitude (Las Canadas, El Portillo and Paisaje Lunar), West (Masca/Santiago del Teide) and South (includes routes in Walk Tenerife South). It provides a total of 100 hours actual walking time (at David and Ros' quite quick walking pace) covering 348 kilometres, plus notes for Geranium Walk, Mount Teide, Siete Canadas and Montana Blanca. All walking routes are rated for 'Effort', 'Time', 'Distance', 'Ascents & Descents' and 'Refreshment' opportunities. Quite simply the most 'Up to Date' detailed walking book that you can buy for Tenerife.
