Product Information

That innocent face. Those sad, puppy-dog eyes. Let's face it: puppies can make anyone's heart melt. But without proper training, they can make even the most doting doggie moms and dads' blood pressure soar.

17 years ago this book helped us raise the best dog

17 years ago this book helped us raise the best dog. We got a puppy recently and I had loaned this book years ago and never got it back. So thrilled I found it again. Plain language and to the point. Certain sections for the basics. More advanced sections for those who wish to explore more.

  • Excellent approach to getting the dog's cooperation in family living.

Easy read. Excellent information that is easy to follow and apply to the dog. I have always owned German Shepherds and when ours passed we adopted a Pitbull Terrier mix from Humane Society to give her a good home. This book has great information for dealing with a strong willed dog who is soooo loveable when trained to cooperate and she/I learned quickly with the aid of Dog Training for Dummies.

  • dog training for dummies - give it a try
