We had an OWL Before, everytime the batteries failed we had to reset it,this model retains its memory{so we are told }. The unit is smaller more solid feeling, simple screen easy to understand,, works sat on a shelf away from other things but can be read easily. I hope this will be the only one we ever need. Good value as well. Well done.

Its ok but needs other features. 1. The backlight only works at night to save batteries. Yet you can plug it into a mains adapter. 2. It doesn't show present usage in cost. It only show present usage per day. There should be present/hourly/daily/weekly choices.

This is an easy to use and reliable electricity monitor for those that want to know their power consumption without fitting a Smart Meter. It's well made and intuitive. We use it a lot when warming up the oven. We can see the power spike when the oven is switched on and we know it's up to temperature when the meter drops back to its normal usage, this takes away the vagaries of knowing when to put food in the oven and it saves power but not having to guess. Finally, it becomes second nature to occasionally look at the current consumption (our house ticks over at about 450kw/h), if it's showing higher than this then we can investigate if something has been left on by accident. A good unit

I use it to monitor a renewables generator, my old one had got damp and corroded through the PCB. I wasn't sure it this new one would be compatible but it is, which is a great relief!

It does what is is supposed to, measure Kwh etc and is v easy to fit and monitor. Only had it a short time so far, using it to check the power company meter - too early to decide
