Ocean colour keyline

Leying it on the line.
Given it a couple of listens now and while I'm not overawed by it yet as I was by 'North Atlantic Drift' and 'Hyperactive Workout' this is still a good album. The weakest track is 'For Dancers Only'- by Paul Weller and the only one not written by OCS. The songs seem simpler and more laid back than previously but they get better as the album progresses and the sing-along choruses are still in place. 'I told you so''loneliest Girl in the Whole Wide World''I just got over You', 'Two Lovers' and the political 'Mr Brown' are all songs that most other groups would kill to have in their setlists. Ocean Colour Scene are a cracking band- much underrated as they write songs that seem like classic songs that have been with you all your life and they make it look effortless.
