I'm in the medical profession and wanted to teach myself some medical sign language to help patients. This is an excellent book to help you get through some interaction with patients. Also, it gives you several different ways to sign. It's a tremendous asset to have at work and fairly easy once you understand some basics.
Excellent reference for the novice medical professional on sign language instruction. Visual clues easy to follow with multiple alternatives available for interpretation. Completely practical and comprehensive, delivered in time saving quick-reference style!
This book has been VERY helpful as I have started interpreting more in medical settings. It was highly recommended to me by another interpreter.
Great when you need to brush up on you medical signs, or just add to your knowledge. I could not live with out this book in hospitals and doctors offices!
I assist with seniors and disabled individuals, many of the are deaf or hearing impaired. Very informative publication.
