This is probably one of my best practical buy's. The press it self is very light, clean and extremely easy to use after a little practice. I place cling film between the press and meats so no mess!!! Or washing up.

The item seems very well made and sturdy. The problems i had though are: An uncomfortable handle which digs into the palm of your hand during use. I had 50 burgers to make for a party and after about ten i had a bruise in the center of my hand and it was very sore. I ended up having to put a towel on the top of the handle. It's not very non-stick. I used wax disks which covered the entire top and bottom of the press, but the burger still stuck and i had to literally bang the press base on the counter to release it. Finally, if you don't press on hard enough the burger doesn't form, but press on a bit harder and the meat starts to escape up the sides and out of the press. It's quite an art to try and get it exactly right each time. Ok for occasional use, but no good for when you have lots to make.Read full review

Handy for making burgers for today, also for making them to freeze, you can buy plastic circles to place between the burgers when freezing, you can oil the press to make the burgers or you can use the plastic circles above and below the burger to press them and they wont stick either way.

Arrived in good time and packed well. I buy my mince meat from my local butcher, it's nice and lean and always make my own burgers and meat balls. It's very strong, good quality and I love the wooden handle. It's brilliant and makes a good size burger for any man!
