Jeep Cherokee 1997 4.0L
Hi just some info regarding the fitting of the starter motor to my Jeep Cherokee 1997 4.0L auto... The starter motor itself fits fine...it's just the terminals are spaced out differently and the connections on the jeep would not fit. However , after modifying the Jeeps connector...had to basically cut through the rubber connector to separate the heavy duty +ve cable from the low current solenoid cable...to enable both cables to connect in the different positions on the starter. So, apart from that all is good, starts really easy now.Hi just some info regarding the fitting of the starter motor to my Jeep Cherokee 1997 4.0L auto...
