This wire center rope is extremely thick and very hard to work with. I decided to try it as frequent heavy winds have quickly shred two lighter flag ropes. Unfortunately, I do not have heavy duty tools to cut the heavy wire protruding from each end of the rope. So I heavily taped them to keep from cutting up my hands when raising and lowering flag. On top of the heavy wire, having not paid attention to knot tying in Boy Scouts, this rope is really hard to tie a knot in. However, it works!
